Positive Technologies to unveil new cybersecurity research solution at GISEC Global 2026

Format: Offline

Positive Technologies will take part in GISEC Global 2026, the Middle East's largest cybersecurity exhibition, taking place in Dubai from September 16 to 18.

At its booth (C140, Hall 5), Positive Technologies will present Positive Labs, a new end-to-end solution for cybersecurity research that brings together the company's technologies, proven methods, and years of hands-on expertise. This year, Positive Technologies is also a key organizer of the dedicated Hack-O-Sphere area, where visitors will be able to take part in reverse-engineering workshops and interactive activities demonstrating deepfake technologies.

"In today's fast-changing threat landscape, organizations need to build internal cybersecurity research expertise. This is essential for technological and digital sovereignty. At GISEC Global, we are introducing Positive Labs, a solution designed for international markets that can help organizations protect their infrastructure and strengthen their independence. Positive Labs is an end-to-end laboratory for security research into microelectronics and embedded systems. It uses advanced technologies, including Positive Technologies' own developments. In practice, it gives customers a complete R&D center. We deliver everything needed to launch and operate the lab. We design the lab and tailor its processes to the customer's goals, supply the full set of hardware and software, train specialists, and provide ongoing technical support and expert guidance. As a result, organizations can conduct device security research independently and develop their teams into experts in key areas of cybersecurity."

Emad took over Positive Technologies' regional office in 2026. He is responsible for the company's strategic business development and for strengthening customer relationships across the MEA region, one of the world's fastest-growing and most competitive cybersecurity markets.

At Positive Technologies' demo booth at GISEC Global 2026, visitors will be able to see how a modern security research lab works. Positive Technologies experts will walk them through the full research process, from device teardown and firmware extraction to reverse engineering.

Positive Technologies will also host AI-powered installations in the Hack-O-Sphere area, where visitors can see realistic deepfakes generated using their own appearance and voice. The activity is designed to show how dangerous AI technologies can become when they fall into the wrong hands. During the reverse-engineering workshop, visitors will learn how researchers uncover the inner workings of devices without access to documentation and why this work matters. Two well-known cybersecurity experts from Jordan will join the Positive Technologies team for this session.
