Positive Technologies expert to speak at cybersecurity summit in China

Format: Offline

The annual cybersecurity summit will take place in Tianjin, China, on September 1–3, bringing together representatives of Chinese government agencies and leading cybersecurity companies from various countries. Positive Technologies will be represented by Kseniia Naumova, Senior Network Threat Researcher.

Kseniia will be participating in the international antivirus conference for the second time, which will be held on September 2 as part of the summit and will focus on a new paradigm of cyberdefense. She will deliver a talk titled "Navigating the Ocean of Network Dumps: Approaches to Scalable Traffic Analysis."

As the digital industry evolves, the scope of network investigations has expanded significantly. Cybersecurity teams now have to analyze terabytes of network traffic, making the detection of malicious activity more difficult and time-consuming. Kseniia will share scalable practices that help accelerate investigations without compromising the quality or completeness of analysis.

"At the conference, I will share practical approaches to analyzing large volumes of network traffic, from reducing the volume of data that requires review to filtering and prioritizing traffic, automating workflows, and using distributed processing. I will focus on proven analytical techniques for detecting malicious traffic, correlating events across large datasets, and finding the right balance between speed and depth of analysis. These practices can help teams build scalable network investigation workflows and keep pace with ever-growing volumes of network data".
